Golden Eagle Airlines operates a variety of aircraft ranging from the single
engine Cessna 206 to the larger twin engine 10 seat Piper Chieftain.
Our current fleet are located over three bases throughout the Kimberley and Pilbara. These bases have the following aircraft: Port Hedland - Twin engine aircraft: one Piper Navajo, one Piper Chieftain and one Piper Seneca Derby - Single engine aircraft: three Cessna 206's Twin engine aircraft: Two Britten Norman Islander's, one Piper Seneca, two Piper Chieftain's and one Piper Navajo Broome - Twin engine aircraft: Two Piper Chieftain's Kununurra - Twin engine aircraft: one Britten Norman Islander
Britten Norman Islander Known for its short field performance and getting a large load out of those very short airstrips, the Britten Norman Islander was definitely purpose built. We regularly lift 9 passengers out of airstrips that are only 550 metres long with twin engine reliability. It is a true work horse for our mining crew changes at Cockatoo Island.
